Durham City of Ontario has seen a population growth of 1.17% for the year 2023, with the population reaching 434,000. This is an increase from the 429,000 recorded in 2020, representing a 1.44% increase from the previous year.

In 2015, the average income in Durham Region was $49,018, a 10.3% increase from 2005.
